Biography:

Augusta- James E. Lemar, 72, of Randolph, ME.  Passed on April 19, 2024, at Glenridge Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care in Augusta, ME.

James was born in Gardiner, ME on May 09, 1951, the son of Robert & Mildred Lemar

Work History—Jimmy worked at Lipman Poultry for many years.  He also worked as a farm herdsman on many farms in Maine and performed various tasks as a property maintenance/manager.

 Jimmy enjoyed helping others.  No task was too big nor too small.  He also enjoyed gardening, metal detecting, antiquing, and going for car rides to anywhere.  He was a Member of the Elks Lodge in Gardiner, ME.

 Predeceased by his father Robert Lemar and his wife Reta as well as his mother Mildred Lemar, stepbrothers Kenneth Lemar and Robert Lemar Jr., stepsister Wilma Martel, and nephew Lee Lemar.

 He is survived by his husband Stewart Krever, his son Paul and wife Bonnie Lemar, stepdaughter Cecile and husband Brian Prescott, grandson Cody and wife Jennice Dawson, granddaughter Paige and husband Matthew Tenney, grandsons Billy Jordan, Jr., and Michael Jordan, granddaughter Ashley Manring, niece Kim MacDonald and husband David, his close cousins Carolyn and Sylvia, as well as many great grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins.

 Special thanks to Charles Tisdale for being a great friend whose time and support were very much appreciated.

 A graveside service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery on Blinn Hill Rd in Dresden on Friday, May 10th, 2024 at 1:00 pm immediately followed by a Celebration of Life, potluck gathering, at the Elks Lodge, 148 Cobbossee Ave., Gardiner.
