Joseph McCarthy 90, of Brunswick passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
Joe was a proud veteran of the Army. He was a surveyor most of his life, finishing his career at BIW.
Joe was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and camping. In retirement, he enjoyed the casino.
Joe is predeceased by his parents Pat and Ruth McCarthy. His brother Jimmy and his son Joey.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Kay McCarthy. His sister Carol and husband Barney. His son Kevin, his daughter Katie and husband Mike, his son Patrick and wife Bethany. Six grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
At Joe's request, there will be no funeral services. There will be a private burial for the immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Joe's honor to your favorite charity.
