SO SORRY TO SEE YOUR MOM HAS PAST AWAY, SHE WAS MUCH TOO YOUNG. KATHY AND I WERE FRIENDS IN MILFORD AND YOU CHILDREN WERE SMALL. SHE REALLY HAD HER HANDS FULL BUT ALWAYS HAD A SMILE AND LOVED LIFE. SHE WAS A JOY TO BE AROUND. I LOST TRACK OF HER AND SO SORRY TO CATCH-UP WITH HER THIS WAY. LIFE HAS A WAY OF PASSING TOO QUICKLY. TAKE CARE YOU KIDS, YOU ARE TRULY LOVED

My earliest memory of my Aunt Cathy was when she would chase me around Nana's house with a pair of scissors threatening to cut my bangs. I was about 5 and was trying to look like the Beatles, and she was relentless. I will always remember the pineapple upside cakes she would make every Thanksgiving. Her sense of humor was infectuous. She was always my favorite aunt, and I will miss her even though she permed my hair repeatedly in the 1970's. She was a wonderful lady!

Cathy's mother Edna lived down the hall from me at the Penobscot River House in Old Town. Her mother was so happy when Cathy visited her and took her to the Patten, ME, area where Edna grew up. Edna was very proud of Cathy and all her skills and accomplishments. When Cathy came to town, she brought a bag of Italian sandwiches from Amatos which Edna and I thoroughly enjoyed - she was very thoughtful and kind.
