Bill was a great friend to all who knew him. He had a wonderful, impish sense of humor. We spent many evenings together laughing, talking, and listening to him play guitar. My children adored him.

Although I left Maine many years ago, I have always remembered his friendship and looked forward to renewing it when we return to Maine. Now, my heart aches for the loss of that possiblity and for his wife, Patty, their son, and their extended family. One of life's most precious lights has blinked out. He lives now in our found memories.

You were a huge mentor to me and so many others. A guru who always had the right words. And a great teacher who was forever patient and positive.
