Just so you know the extent of Ted's impact on other peoples lives, I will always remember him fondly. As an impressionable young lad, I always enjoyed the time he so unselfishly spent with the neighborhood kids. Later, as I was raising my three boys, I would think of Ted when I was playing his game of golf in the yard using only one club, and hitting trees for holes. In the winter, I created a "saucer" run in the snow for the kids to slide on, remembering how much fun I had on the one Ted made between your house and the Misentis. I ran into him I think only once since I left the neighborhood, but would always ask mutual friends or contacts, how he was doing. I am sorry for your loss and sorry for the challenges his Alzheimers presented to your family. I do appreciate the influence he had on my life.

To Ted's family:
I am so sorry for your loss!
I am a Children's Librarian at Russell and often saw Ted at work in the Hitchcock Room (where the Friends of the Library worked their magic)...Ted was very unassuming, had a great sense of humor and worked tirelessly to raise money for Russell Library.
He was one of a kind, thinking of you all in the days ahead,
Sincerely,
Sharon Cerasoli,

Dearest Lesley & Ned,
I was heartbroken to read just today that Ted passed away in March, and I send you my deepest condolences and thoughts for healing. When I spoke to Ted on the phone shortly before he moved to Maine, he sounded like the pithy, charming, and deeply wise self I always knew him to be. We laughed and shared memories of the wonderful lunches we enjoyed together in Higganum and Middletown. I will never forget the loving friendship, support, and respect he gave to my late father, Boris, to my mother Ann, and to me. He was a rare light in this world, and illuminated my life and the lives of so many others. I hope you will both be comforted by the indelible memories of Ted we will carry with us always.
