July 11, 2013 | Judi (Snell) and Francis Farley - Thomaston, ME -- USA

We're so very sorry to learn of Linda's passing. We both remember her fondly from school days. Our condolences go to Jim and to all Linda's family.

July 11, 2013 | Kathy & Frank Gorham - Gray, Maine -- USA

We were deeply saddened to hear of Linda's passing. While we haven't seen Linda in many years, we remember her as a kind and dedicated teacher, and a friend to everyone she met. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jim and Linda's entire family.

Mrs. Ledger taught our daughters for five consecutive years. She inspired them to love learning. She inspired them to help their community. She inspired them to love and protect all people. She inspired them to find and spread happiness. Mrs. Ledger came to visit us when the girls got a little older. She continued to warm our hearts with her kindness and joy. Even our dog Lucy wouldn't leave her side during her visit! Our family will never forget her.

July 10, 2013 | Tom Wiles - Oxford, Maine -- USA

To the Family of Linda Ledger

In this time of sorrow, hoping you will find peace...Jesus said: “My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. And I give them everlasting life, and they will by no means ever be destroyed, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.” (John 10:27, 28)...Never forget that Jesus Christ is still alive and active, ruling now as the enthroned King of God’s heavenly Kingdom. Just as when he walked on earth those many years ago, he is still concerned about meek ones who long for peace of mind.

July 10, 2013 | Denise Morin - Casco, ME. -- USA

It is with such sadness to have lost Linda from this most grueling disease. She fought cancer with utmost dignity and grace. I was honored to have massaged her at CMMC and the Dempsey Center. She taught me so much about life and her NEVER GIVE UP ATTITUDE. Her adoring smile lit up any room she was in! She never wanted to burden anyone...her essence was that of CARING. Linda, thank you for coming into my life...you were a born teacher! We had many deep conversations and you will always hold a special place in my heart. Connected Forever, I love you, Denise Morin
