It's always so sad when someone leaves us. (I don't want to use the word "die." ) And you haven't left us, really... you're on so many people's minds, including mine.
I'm so glad I talked with you a few times before our Lewiston High 67th reunion at Martindale Aug. 10. You had said you weren't well, and probably wouldn't make it, but in talking with your sister, I thought maybe you would. We missed you, Aline. But you were at our 65th one. (I'm sure you came with Claire.)
It was our classmate Gerry Jean in California who emailed many 1949 classmates to tell us the news. (He keeps tract of our LHS classmates who are no longer with us.)
I didn't know you in high school Aline, but I'm sure you were quite the smiling, friendly, energetic one, by the looks of your photo and what was written about you. Miss you. Love, Nancy

In 2010 I called Aline to let her know that my mother passed. That's when I learned that Aline had babysat my brother and I when we were babies. I enjoyed talking with her on the telephone several times, and I will always remember her kind and loving words.
I pray for Aline and her family.

Please accept my deepest condolences during this time. I will always keep close in my heart the many conversations I shared with Aileen when visiting her at the Woolworth store in Lewiston. Aileen always had something nice to say with a smile on her face. May God take care of you on your next journey in life..
