We met in 1986 while you weren't yet 20. We married in 1987, relocating to ME. In 1991, we welcomed a son. He got his CDL and began a career in long-haul trucking. Things got between us. but I never stopped loving you and always remembered the good times. You remarried and had 2 more children, a daughter and son. There was a lot of turbulence in that marriage and it didn't last. Unfortunately, the children paid the price and were adopted by other people. Gary was diagnosed with MS, a dismal diagnosis and fought against the ravages of it for many years. Gary moved to NC with 3rd wife and spent a few yrs there. The marriage didn't last but a few years. He returned to Maine and also took a solo bus trip to Miami in his w/c. There he spent time in nursing homes. I brought him back to Maine where the care was better. I visited him as often as I could and brought treats. Still Gary had pain and was conscious of his many losses and wanted to be with the Lord, where I am confident he is now. His suffering is no more. He is finally at peace. I love you, Gary. Always did. Always will.
