Joyce worked hard over the years to help support her family, it is no wonder that she passed on Purple Heart Day, as we hold in our hearts a badge of honor for taking care of her family with such love and support. She worked at Woolworth's at a young age, sold Stanley products, Tupperware, Avon, Mary Kay products from home, worked as a cook, baker & manager of the Auburn Middle School Lunch Program for many years until she retired. She was very talented and always liked targeting a new project, loved finding a good bargain and any building/carpentry project that brought her joy and excitement. She loved talking to people and her smile would warm your heart and light up the room, she will be dearly missed!
