Biography:

TOPSHAM - My wife, Holly Lynne Bennett, passed away, June 23rd, 2017, in our home of 17 years after nearly ten years of battling breast cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends when she peacefully left us.

Holly was born October 13th, 1974 in Rockland, Maine the daughter of Rebecca Cooper Parsons, Ralph Beverage and adopted father John F. Parsons. She grew up on North Haven Island and graduated from North Haven Community School in 1992. I was introduced to Holly in the fall of 1992 after she met my best friend Wendy Thiboutot Devore. We dated for a few months and parted. Five years passed and our paths crossed again. We started our lives together and married January 29th, 2000. We built a new house and made a home with our two children. Holly was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and friend. She was an avid gardener and homemaker.

She was survived by her devoted husband Christopher A. Bennett of Topsham; two children, Zachary Sherman Bennett and Allyson Rebecca Bennett of Topsham; her mother and father Rebecca Cooper Parsons and John F. Parsons of Durham, Maine; brother Isaiah Cooper, wife Melanie and niece Sabrina of Wales, Maine; sister Shane Parsons of Durham, Maine; brother Malachi Parsons of Portland, Maine; brother Eric Parsons, wife Jane and nephew Joseph of Denver, Colorado; sister Andrea Janes, husband Jeff, niece and nephew Zoey and Zander of Clarksville, Tennessee; mother and father-in-law Dennis and Cheryl Bennett of Bowdoin, Maine; brother-in-law Jason Bennett, wife Angel, nieces and nephew Autumn, Madison and Brandon of Sabattus, Maine.

Holly was preceded in death by her Papa, Ralph Beverage.
