Biography:

Livermore Falls – Larry E. Blouin, 66, died on Thursday, June 16 after a long battle with cancer. He was a resident of Livermore Falls and educated in the Augusta School System. Larry served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam. Larry was a man who took great pride in everything that he did.

Larry worked in construction and was a woodsman. He loved working with his Kubota, landscaping and performing other tasks around his home. Larry enjoyed his old cars, taking them on cruises and shows as well as doing crafts, listening to country music and going to music outings. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who was in need. For as on-the-go of a man that Larry was, he would always find time for hunting and fishing.

Larry married the former Simone Castonguay on August 26, 1972. He loved spending time with family and friends where he always had a story to tell. Larry was an equal opportunity harasser of his friends and family where they would sit back and enjoy a good laugh together. Everyone will remember Larry for his humor. He touched many lives and will be missed by all. He lived his life for his wife and son, and they did everything together. He was a family man through and through, being a great husband, father and friend.

Larry is survived by his beloved with Simone Castonguay Blouin, a special god-son, Adam, whom he had a special bond with making him like a second son, a sister-in-law Sandra Blouin and many nieces and nephews.

Larry was predeceased by his son Larry Blouin Jr., his parents John and Maxine Blouin as well as by his brothers Jimmy, Henry, David, and Albert.

Larry’s family wishes to thank their family and friends for all of their support and a special thank you to the staff of Beacon Hospice, their staff especially Cindy and Dr. Donahue as well as Hannaford Pharmacy.
