Biography:

Roger M. Boivin—Leeds--Roger M. Boivin, 61 of Leeds died October 12, 2017 at the Hospice House in Auburn. He was born on January 16, 1956 to Maynard and Jennie Boivin in Waterville. Roger worked as a farmer at Addition Farms in Leeds, the Sun Journal in Lewiston and ended his working days at VIP Warehouse in Lewiston several years ago. Roger was a member of the Unity Fire Department for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, old cars, spending time with family and BBQing with neighbors at Spring Rock Park in Leeds and hanging at the Shack with his buddy Donnie Nazaroff. Roger was predeceased by his parents. Survivors include his daughter, Michelle Arsenault and husband Shane of Turner, son, Travis Boivin of Leeds, daughter-in-law, Mary Beth Boivin of Wales, ex-wife Karen Fish of Leeds, grandchildren, Landen & Logan Arsenault, Talan & Tempeste Boivin and MacKenzie Swett, brothers, Raymond Boivin & wife Heidi of Plymouth, Randal Boivin & Companion Mike Coro of Augusta, Rayno Boivin of Unity and Ryan Boivin, sister, Renee Boivin of Coopers Mills, Uncle Maurice Boivin & wife Debbie of Enfield, NH along with several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to nurses and staff at Marshwood Rehab Center in Lewiston for providing care to Roger for several months. Also extra special thank you to Hospice House in Auburn for making Roger's last days comfortable. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 22 at 10 a.m. at Fowler Cemetery on Albion Road in Unity. A Celebration of Life will follow at Leeds Community Church, 123 Church Hill Road Leeds at noon. Come celebrate Roger's life with a BBQ. If you wish to send flowers please send to the home of Michelle & Shane Arsenault, 750 Howes Corner Road, Turner. Flowers will then be placed on Roger's grave.
