Tillie Jeanette (Cloutier) Bonsant

Date of Death: January 20, 2012

Date of Birth: September 7, 1957

Biography:

CHELSEA -- Tillie Jeanette (Cloutier) Bonsant, 54, of Chelsea, passed away on Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, after a brief illness. Her loving husband of 35 years, Richard Bonsant, and her sister, Donna Cloutier, were by her side.

Tillie previously was employed for 18 years at Augusta Mental Health Institute as a dietary aide and enjoyed her work and especially her dear friends at work. She loved to read, crochet, needlework and knit. She especially loved to give her handiwork to family and friends.

She loved to laugh and have a good time. At any family event, Tillie was the greeter and greeted all with open arms and a big smile -- often with a kiss!

Tillie graduated from Cony High School in Augusta in 1976.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Bonsant; her parents, Joseph and Muriel Cloutier, of Augusta; a brother, Richard Cloutier, and his partner, Keith Young, of Windham; two sisters, Donna Cloutier and her partner, Jim Rodrigue, of Pittston, and Pamela Tardiff and her husband, Maurice Tardiff, and nephew Dylan Dube, all of Augusta; mother- and father-in-law Raymond and Joan Bonsant, of Augusta; her brother-in-law, Robert Bonsant, and his wife, Karen, and their children, Andy and Jenn, of Windsor; her sister-in-law, Patty Farrin, and her husband, Rusty, of Chelsea, and their children, Amy and Jac Arbour; and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends who lover her.

A mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25 at St. Michael's Catholic Parish, Western Avenue, Augusta.
