Biography:

LEWISTON – Ronald A. Boothby, 64, of Turner, passed away on March 11^th, 2010 with family and friends at his side.

Ron was born on February 24^th,  1946 in Portland, the son of Paul and Wilma (Conant) Boothby.

He graduated from Edward Little High School and then went on to join the Army Reserves and Auburn Police Reserves. Keeping a 20 year membership with the Mechanic Falls Chapter of the American Legion and the Mason’s.

Utilizing his gift for sales, Ron became a successful representative for U.S. Cellular that lasted most of his career.  He enjoyed attending hockey games and horse races. Ron could usually be found accompanied by his dedicated friends Bucky Coutts, John Chamberland, and Tyler Boothby.

Ron is survived by his brother Edward ‘Ted’ Boothby and his wife Judy; also by several close nieces and nephews.

Ron will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

 

NOTICE

BOOTHBY Ronald A., 64, of Turner, passed away on March 11^th at Central Maine Medical Center. There will not be any services at this time. Interment will be held in the spring at N. Auburn Cemetery.
