She was born on April 11th, 1930 in Lisbon Center, the daughter of Howard and Annie (Smith) Goss.

Although she held several jobs throughout her life, her greatest job was raising her children. She loved to knit , crochet, crafts and going to craft fairs, and enjoyed a good game of Scrabble with her son Kenneth whom passed away on May 8th, 2010. She also enjoyed genealogy and always had a “Did you know he was related?” story.  ‘Grammie’ loved rocking babies and was looking forward to rocking her 3 new great-grandchildren due next year.

Leona is survived by her beloved husband Roland; children Maureen, Donna, Trudy, Suanne, Rebecca,  James; brother Roland Goss; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; very good friend Mazie Jordan whom she loved as a sister; and many nieces and nephews.
