Biography:

Waterville - Debra Anne Chessa, 53, went home November 30, 2018 to be with our Lord & Savior. She passed away peacefully at Maine General Medical Center - Augusta with John Chessa at her side. She was born in Colorado Springs on November 3, 1965, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy Davidson. Debbie, also called Deb-a-doo by friends, attended Lawrence High School, Central Beauty School, and Fuller’s Circle - School of Massage Therapy. She worked at Jack and Jill, JC Penney, Attitudes and was the proud owner of Bella Vita Salon & Day Spa, her dream and passion. She loved listening to music, weddings and helping her family and friends.

Debra is survived by her adored son Anthony Chessa, her husband John Chessa of 19 years, her birth mother Bonnie Staton, half-sister Rachel, her mother-in-law Lorraine, sister-in-law Janine, brother-in-law Dan, and three nieces, Rachel, Jessica and Sophie and four nephews, Juan, Johnny, Adam and Kristoff, Aunt Jeannine Boucher, cousin David Loubier and wife Joyce, cousin Donna Loubier, and cousins Mark and Steve Boucher.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Faith Evangelical Free Church, located at 250 Kennedy Memorial Dr., Waterville on Saturday, December 15, 2018, from 10 – 11am, immediately followed by a luncheon organized by the Fairfield Knights of Columbus at the St. Joseph Maronite Catholic Church, 3 Appleton St. Waterville.
