Biography:

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jesse James Cleveland 29 of Durham on Sunday January 27, 2019. He was born March 19, 1989 in Lewiston ME to Michelle (White) Cleveland and David Cleveland.

He completed his secondary education at Brunswick High School and was a Dean’s list student at Central Maine Community College. He was scheduled to graduate in May.

Jesse was very intelligent with a curious mind and loved the process of learning. He was a loving, caring person, loyal to family and friends and very protective of those he loved. He was a true gentlemen always reaching out to help people in trouble.

Jesse enjoyed motorcycles, motocross, reading, computers, gaming, and was a proud gun owner.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his sisters Christine and Ashlee Cleveland, his nephew Nickali Gaudet, his maternal grandmother Lucille Spencer, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew him.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday February 2 from 1 to 4 PM at the First Parish Congregational Church 422 Hallowell Road, Pownal, ME. A service at the church will follow immediately after visitation.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the student scholarship fund at CMCC or to a charity of your choice.
