Biography:
RUMFORD-Madeline H. Cunningham, 86, of Rumford, Me passed away on May 27th, 2013 at the Hospice House in Auburn.
She was born on April 30th, 1927 in Rumford, to parents Jennie and Clarence “Stubby” Haines.
Madeline enjoyed arts and crafts. She was a rug braider, knitter and seamstress, and also a woodworker. She was also a great homemaker and loving mother and wife.
Madeline had worked as a dental office manager for Dr. Swallow.
She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Arthur J. Cunningham.
Madeline is survived by 3 sons, Arthur W. Cunningham and wife Sharon, Gregory A. Cunningham and wife Jane, and Scott E. Cunningham and his partner Douglas Leach; 6 grandchildren; her beloved brother Eugene, and her beloved sister-in-law Evelyn Haines; 14 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. She also leaves behind her special friend, Debbie Mayo.
