Jessie Estelle (Sabin) Davis

Biography:

Brunswick- Jessie Estelle (Sabin) Davis, 90, of Brunswick, died on September 14, 2021.

Jessie was born on Dec. 26, 1930, in Lynn, Massachusetts, the daughter of Emery L. and Mildred (Davis) Sabin.  She attended Lawrence High School.  Years later she attended the University of Maine and earned a B.A in education.   In addition, she earned two Associate degrees later on.  She was able do all that while working and raising three of her own children as well as taking in foster children, adopting one of them.

Jessie was a hard worker.  She loved to sing, read, to play board games, card games, assemble puzzles, as well as the time that she spent with her children, friends, and neighbors.  She was a member of the Brunswick Seventh Day Adventist Church and volunteered there.

Jessie was predeceased by her parents, two of her husbands, a brother, a sister, a granddaughter, and a grandson.

She is survived by her four children Donald and wife Lynne, John, Katherine, and Elizabeth, siblings Katherine, and David, grandchildren Jason, Jamie, Heather, Sabin, and Sarah, three great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

There will be a Celebration of Jessie’s Life at the Brunswick Seventh Day Adventist Church, 333 Maine St., in Brunswick, ME on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at 3pm.  There will be light refreshment after the service.
