Biography:

Leo Fernand Giguere—Lewiston--Leo Fernand Giguere, 61, of Lewiston, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Russell Park and Living Center following a short battle of lung cancer with family and friends at his side. He was born in Lewiston on October 13, 1959 the son of the late Raymond and Shirley Caron Giguere Sr. Leo attended local schools and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1977. He was a professional truck driver with his most recent being a driver for Evans Trucking out of Florida. Leo delivered products from coast to coast for various companies throughout the United States. He enjoyed watching football with the Miami Dolphins being his favorite team. Leo also enjoyed going to football games with his friends, as well as fishing, playing cards and golfing. He loved his dogs Precious and Jezebel and everybody knew that when he was going to do something with his girls, he was talking about his dogs. They traveled everywhere with him. Leo also was a very dear friend to everyone he knew. He would help anyone that needed it. He is survived by three sisters, Jackie Howes, Diane Todd of Lewiston, Debbie St. Onge and her husband Bruce of Auburn, two brothers, Danny Giguere and wife Peggy, Raymond Giguere Jr. and wife Brenda of Auburn, many nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews. Also his companion Donna Ash, her children Christopher and Michael Ash, their grandchildren, Stryker Ash, Xyla Fucillo and friend Samantha Fucillo all of Florida. Leo was predeceased by his father Raymond Giguere in 1997, his mother Shirley Caron Giguere in 2016, a sister Cecile Marie Giguere in 1963, a brother in law, John Todd in 2019, a nephew Glenn Ritchie in 2020 and his grandparents. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 1 at St. Peter Cemetery, Switzerland Road, Lewiston at 11 a.m.
