Biography:
Hartford- Peter J. Jasper, 58, of Hartford, passed away at home on July 17th, 2013.
He was born on March 13th, 1955, in Lewiston, to Winston B. and Joan (McKeen) Jasper.
Peter served in the US Navy from 1973 to 1977 and was a long-time member of the John D. Long American Legion Post. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandchildren, playing cards with his poker buddies, and improving the family acreage. Peter worked as a long-haul trucker for YCR and was a member of the Teamsters Union.
Peter was predeceased by his wife of 26 years; Linda (Woodsome) Jasper, and his parents; Winston B. and Joan E. Japer.
He is survived by his sons; John, Mark, and Scott and his wife Carrie, his grandchildren; Justin, Elizabeth, and Kelsea Jasper, Christopher Heeter, and Willie Heller, his brothers; Daniel, Timothy, and Michael, and his sisters; Penny and Patty.
At the request of the family, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Androscoggin Home Health & Hospice, 15 Strawberry Ave., Lewiston, ME 04240.
