Date of Death: April 4, 2021

Date of Birth: July 14, 1942

Biography:

Margaret A. Kinsella {Peg/Peggy} 78 years old, died April 4, 2021 at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.  Peggy was born July 14, 1942 in Somerville Massachusetts to Charles and Margaret Siggens.  At a young age, Peggy was very athletic, loved to draw and was quite involved in her church. She seriously considered the possibility of joining the convent after her Aunt Gertrude.  As a teen, she was a pitcher for the CSO (Catholic Student Organization) softball team and enjoyed the game and friendships.  She also loved weekends in Maine with sister Jean and brother in law Bill.  Vacations and long weekends were typically spent staying with them and their five children Bill, Bob, Susan, Donald and Beverly in Cape Elizabeth.  When she entered the workforce it was in the capacity of administration. Peggy married James Kinsella Jr in 1968, they had one daughter Susan, and they were later divorced.

Peggy loved her family more than anything.  She loved her time in Maine so much that when her mom passed, she moved with Susan, from Massachusetts to Maine to be with her sister and family.  Once in Maine she worked at Merrill Transport and Rufus Deering Lumber doing a variety of administrative duties.  Peggy was a kind and generous person with a great sense of humor.  She loved practical jokes and water fights, even indoors.  Growing up, Susan recalls hours of board games and long walks with her mom.   After retirement, Peggy enjoyed reading, watching/feeding her birds and squirrels and visiting with family whenever possible.

Peggy is predeceased by both her parents, her brothers and sisters, her brother in law Bill Orcutt, sister in law Gayle Siggens,, her ex-husband Jim, her niece Beverly Orcutt and most recently her beloved sister Jean Orcutt.  Peggy leaves behind her daughter Susan Marshall, her grandchildren Nicholas, Cassandra, Rebecca, Abigail, and their father Christopher Marshall.   In addition, she leaves her nephew Bill Orcutt and wife Monika, nephew Bob Orcutt and wife Rhonda, nephew Donald and wife Linda, niece Susan Eklund and Ken Eklund. As well as, all of their children that knew her as Aunt Peggy.

Due to Covid restrictions, her Memorial Service on April 15th will be limited to her immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to Coastal Maine Great Dane  Rescue.
