ORRS ISLAND – Doug Skillin, 87, of Orrs Island passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016. He was born January 12, 1929 in New York, NY, the son of Alton K. and Minerva (Wilson) Skillin.

He was a Veteran of the US Army. He had many hobbies including painting, wood working, gardening, and wine and beer making.

Doug leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Brown; three children, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Services will be held privately.
