Mary Christine Townsend Strout

Date of Death: October 23, 2020

Date of Birth: February 5, 1950

Biography:

Mary Christine Townsend Strout -February 5 1950 to October 23 2020, Yarmouth High School 1968, Daughter of Cecilia M and Clarence J Townsend.

She is survived by many family, Brother Phil and Pam, Brother Peter and Deborah, Brother Michael "Tikey", Sister Jane and Rick, Neice and Nephews: Erica , Greg and Jordan. "Her girls" Daughter Krissy and Glenn,   Grandson Alexander, Daughter Jill and Bion,  Grandchildren Trevor and McKaila and so very many friends she called family.

She felt so blessed to have lifelong friends and great family. This is what she considered her greatest accomplishment. Her people. Her joy.

Mary lived big. She had big smile, big laugh, big resume, (65 jobs) last count. She had big friendships, big opinions, big spunk and the biggest heart.

If you met Mary you remembered her. She probably even tried to feed you. The sparkle of mischief in her eyes and the warmth of her laugh made her
one of a kind. You always knew when Mary was in the room.

Mary's favorite place to be was on the ocean watching the waves and fishing boats, smelling the flowers of spring, feeding the birds, watching the
sunrise or running in the hurricane. She was in awe of the beauty and power of it all.

Mary was the toughest woman.  Broken bones, broken hearts, pain that " is was what it is" she would say. She would rally. Mary decided she was done fighting. Always had to have it her way. She said she was ready to go see everyone that had left before her. Said she was gonna dance. She passed away peacefully surrounded by love and was with her girls.

There will be no official services. She will be cremated and rest with those she loved.

Celebration of love and life tbd in the spring with the flowers blooming, and birds chirping.

She asked if you wish to do something in her memory, she had charity choices RA or NAMI, but she really just wanted you to Pay it forward, Be
kind, Do kind, Forgive, and help someone without expectations.. Above all laugh live and love big..and cherish one another.
