Biography:

AUGUSTA- Una P. Tracy passed away on May 23, 2021 at the Augusta Rehabilitation and Health Services Facility.  Una was born July 1, 1931 in Augusta, Maine the daughter of Roe and Wilma Palmer. She graduated from Cony High School in the class of 1950 and in 1952 married Duane E. Tracy. They were married for 55+ years. Una was predeceased by her parents, her sister Mary Anna and her husband Nelson Roy, her sister Lillian and her husband Camille Grenier, her brother in law Alpha Gurney and her son Brian Tracy.She is survived by her sister Georgie Gurney, her brother George and his wife Pam Palmer, all of Augusta. She is also survived by her daughter, Wanda Jolly, her husband Larry, three grandsons, Benjamin, Adam, and Jonathan Jolly in South Carolina, 9 great grandchildren, and son Bruce Tracy of Augusta. Her entire life was devoted to her family and her Nursing Home Ministry. Una will long be remembered for her faith, her commitment to family and those in need, and her loving yet resolute personality and decision making.
