Paula J. Warner

Date of Death: August 5, 2021

Date of Birth: December 4, 1943

Biography:

Paula J. Warner, 77, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 5, 2021.  Born in Bath, Maine in 1943, she was the daughter of Helen Webster of Bath, and Linwood Koehling, Sr. of Freeport.

Paula had an infectious laugh and great sense of humor.  Coupled with her huge heart, she had a way of making complete strangers feel like part of the family.   Always busy with her hands, she enjoyed and shared her creativity through cross-stitch, knitting and crocheting afghans, and making quilts.  She also loved working in her gardens.   Along with her creative past-times, Paula spent her employment years with Health Tex, Skillings Greenhouse, Hannaford, Home Health Care and the Comfort Inn.

Paula’s family was her life’s pride and joy.  She leaves behind her three children: sons, Allan Warner of New Hampshire and Ronald Warner of West Bath; and her daughter, Holly Warner of Brunswick.  She also leaves behind four grandchildren: Daniel Warner of Auburn, Katherine Warner of Waldoboro, Chelsey Landry of Sabattus, and Forest Warner of Topsham. Great-grandchildren include: Noah, Isaiah and Eli Warner of Auburn; and Jaiden Warner of Brunswick.

Siblings left behind are: Linda Shannon of Texas, Linwood Koehling of Ellsworth, Gordon Koehling of Lisbon, Carl Webster of Bath and Enos Webster of Bath.  She was pre-deceased by her sister, Beverly Webster of Woolwich.

Sharing ice cream adventures and becoming best of friends (and a special sister) after meeting at the Brunswick Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall almost 42 years ago, Betsy Darling was also part of the family she leaves behind; as well as many Witness friends who continued to grow her extended family.   Her membership with the Jehovah Witnesses supported and strengthened her strong faith in Jehovah and the life to come.

In lieu of flowers and cards, please consider a donation to either the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, 22 Bramhall Street, Portland, ME 04102 (www.mmc.org/donate); or donate to www.JW.org in memory of Paula J. Warner.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 12:30PM via Zoom and hosted by the Brunswick Jehovah Witness Kingdom.  Please see their website at JW.org for a link to join the zoom service
